Do I need experience?

No prior experience is necessary to join the buddy program. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact. A willingness to learn and an open heart are the most important qualities.

What is the time commitment?

The time commitment varies based on your availability and the needs of your buddy. Typically, we ask for a minimum of 4–6 hours per month, which can include one-on-one meetups, check-ins, or shared activities. Flexibility is key, and we can work together to create a schedule that works for both you and your buddy.

Will I receive training or support?

Yes! We provide comprehensive training to help you feel confident in your role. You’ll learn effective communication techniques, how to handle challenging situations, and ways to create meaningful connections.
